At the Mobile World Conference (MWC 2024), Samsung finally unveiled the Galaxy Ring in physical form and shared some new details. The device is focused on health and wellness and will be available in platinum silver, gold, and ceramic black. It is expected to be released later this year.
When Samsung first revealed a render of the Galaxy Ring at Unpacked last month, little information was provided. It was known that it would be a wellness-oriented wearable designed to compete with Oura, and it would feature a suite of unspecified sensors.
Although journalists were not allowed to take photos of the device, additional images from Samsung show that it is a chunky, concave ring similar in size to Oura. The added thickness is not surprising, considering the internal electronics.
