Blizzard recently announced that a vampire-themed Blood Knight class will be added to the mobile spin-off Diablo Immortal on July 13. This marks the first new class in the Diablo franchise since 2014, when the Crusader was introduced in Diablo III’s expansion, Reaper of Souls.
Diablo Immortal, released last year, has received mixed reviews from Diablo players and hardcore gamers. Many have criticized the game for its annoying loot boxes and microtransactions. However, despite these criticisms, millions of players continue to play the action-RPG on a daily basis. Personally, I still play Diablo Immortal occasionally, choosing to ignore the negative aspects and focusing on the enjoyable monster killing that has always been a core element of the franchise. And now, Diablo Immortal is introducing a brand new class: the Blood Knight.
During a livestream, Blizzard provided the first details about the upcoming Blood Knight class. It is described as a “mid-range class” that can utilize both melee and ranged attacks, depending on the proximity to enemies.
