Google has recently updated its Inappropriate Content Policy to explicitly ban advertisers from promoting websites and services that create deepfake pornography. This new addition reinforces the existing restrictions on sexual content in ads and makes it clear that any promotion of “synthetic sexually explicit or nude content” is against the rules.
Advertisers found promoting deepfake porn sites, apps, tutorials on creating deepfake porn, or comparing different deepfake porn services will face immediate suspension without prior notice.
