Google’s new policy: No more ads for deepfake porn websites and apps


Google has recently updated its Inappropriate Content Policy to explicitly ban advertisers from promoting⁤ websites and services that​ create deepfake pornography.⁣ This new addition reinforces the‍ existing restrictions on sexual content⁢ in ads and makes‌ it‍ clear that any promotion ⁣of “synthetic sexually explicit or nude content”⁤ is against the rules.

Advertisers found promoting deepfake⁢ porn sites, apps, tutorials on creating deepfake​ porn, or ⁤comparing different​ deepfake​ porn services ⁤will face immediate suspension without prior notice.
