The developers behind the unofficial PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 have released the system requirements for the game.
As mentioned a few days ago, the unofficial PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is now fully playable, and the modding team responsible for it has shared the system requirements for PC gamers.
According to the specifications, players will need an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X with 16GB of RAM, and either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Super or AMD Radeon RX 5500 to run the game at 720p and 45-60 frames per second without adjusting any graphics settings.
For 1080p, an Intel Core i5 10400F or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X with 16GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super or AMD Radeon RX 6600XT is recommended. And for 1440p, the modding team suggests using an Intel Core i5 12700F or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X with 32GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800XT.
While an SSD is not mandatory, it is recommended, and players should expect occasional drops to 45 frames per second and some freezing due to the demanding nature of this PC version.
It will be interesting to see if the official PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will have similar requirements. The official version is expected to perform better and be more adaptable for older PCs, as well as support upscaling technologies on PC.
