Today, the SKIDROW group has successfully cracked the Denuvo protection in the game Fe from EA.
It’s important to note that this game utilizes a simplified Denuvo protection on its main DLL (a feature of the Unity engine). SKIDROW managed to completely remove the Denuvo DLL and restore all game calls to the cleaned DLL, similar to their recent crack of the game Drone Swarm. It’s worth mentioning that Two Point Campus also uses the same version of protection, so we might expect a crack from SKIDROW for this game in the future.
Although this version of protection is easier to crack compared to the versions cracked by EMPRESS, it still presented a significant challenge for crackers, which is why the game remained uncracked for over five years.
Fe is an indie game that combines the genres of adventure action and metroidvania. It was developed by the independent studio Zoink and published by EA Games as part of the EA Originals program.
