CD Projekt RED has just rolled out a new update for Cyberpunk 2077, labeled as version 2.12, which is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. The primary focus of this update was to address issues that arose following the previous patch, 2.11.
For PC users, the developers have concentrated on resolving key binding problems and have collaborated with Intel to fix a core configuration issue that was impacting frame rates. Additionally, adjustments have been made to ray tracing.
Below is the complete list of changes:
PC Changes
- Corrected key binds for radio wheel and body disposal on AZERTY keyboards, with all layouts now set to the T key for assigning targets.
- Collaborated with Intel to address delays caused by enabling “High-performance cores priority.”
- Teamed up with Razer to fix crashes related to Razer Chroma support.
- Resolved an issue where characters’ hair inside vehicles appeared too bright with ray tracing enabled.
- Fixed a crash issue on the Steam Deck when ray tracing was turned on.
Xbox Changes
- Fixed loading, freezing, and crashing problems on Xbox with specific saves.
Changes for all platforms
- Resolved issues preventing players from accessing the menu, inventory, stash, making calls, or using fast travel.
- Improved visibility of the controller/gamepad cursor in the menu and when using computers or keyboards, particularly beneficial for Steam Deck users and console/PC players using a controller/gamepad.
- Addressed various mission-specific issues and made adjustments to the “Berserk” implant.
While full support for Cyberpunk 2077 has been achieved, the developers will continue to release minor patches to address any remaining issues.
