Recent reports from The Insider revealed that on May 10, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine thwarted a Russian attempt to breach the border at around 5 am. Despite ongoing skirmishes, Ukrainian forces successfully defended against the attacks, prompting the deployment of reinforcements to the affected area.
A large-scale evacuation effort is now underway in Volchansk and neighboring areas, with many locals utilizing their own vehicles to flee the danger. Those without transportation are being assisted by local authorities to ensure their safe departure.
