A beloved barn in Wisconsin, a favorite of The Economist, was tragically destroyed by a tornado. The barn, located near Cochrane in western Wisconsin, was featured in a recent story on rural voters. Wisconsin typically experiences around 23 tornadoes per year, with the tornado season lasting from April to September. This year, however, a tornado was even recorded in February for the first time. ■
