One of the first locations on Herta’s Space Station in Honkai: Star Rail is the Base Zone, which has treasure chests hidden throughout the area. These chests are crucial for account progression as players need many resources to level their characters and summon new units. By locating and opening these chests, players can obtain numerous materials, including Stellar Jade, Credits, experience, and specific destination resources like Strales.
Compared to other zones, finding each chest in the Base Zone is relatively easy due to less verticality. There are a total of seven Basic Chests and one Precious Chest in the Base Zone, which is one of four areas on the Station. However, players must complete the “Road to Revival” side quest from Arlan after the tutorial to access the right wing of the area.
The second basic chest is located behind the right staircase in the reception room, next to some plants in the corner. This chest is situated right next to the Reception Room Space Anchor on the other side of the wall. To find it, players must head up the staircase in the Reception Room and enter a medical facility, where the chest can be found on the right side next to some plants and a scanning machine.
