The developers of the cooperative first-person shooter Payday 3 have made the sudden decision to remove the Denuvo anti-piracy protection. The news of the use of this protection became known at the beginning of last month, but now the developers have chosen not to use it in the full version of the game.
This announcement was made by SBZ_Almir of Starbreeze Studios, who shared the following message with the gaming community:

This decision has been well-received by players, with many welcoming the developers’ choice. The Denuvo anti-piracy protection can cause technical issues and limitations during gameplay.
Payday 3 is set to be released on September 21.
