Brazil’s Supreme Court is to analyze former President Jair Bolsonaro’s alleged involvement within the January 8 assaults on authorities buildings within the capital Brasilia.
The court docket’s determination follows a request by Brazil’s public prosecutor workplace, a number of members of which launched a press release Friday describing the occasions of that day – when Bolsonaro’s supporters stormed and destroyed authorities buildings to protest the election of his rival Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva – as “antidemocratic acts.”
