The first DLC expansion for Atomic Heart, titled “Instinct of Extinction,” has been released as part of the promised DLC series by the developers. This expansion is included in the Atomic Pass, as previously announced during the release of the main game.
“Instinct of Extinction” continues the Atomic Heart storyline and takes players to a new location called the “Mendeleev Complex,” which is surrounded by swamps. In this new location, Major P-3 will encounter one of the most memorable characters from the original game, the amorous wardrobe named “Eleanor.” Professor Lebedev will guide players through the complex plot and introduce them to polymer cyber technologies, teaching them how to tame the instinct of extermination possessed by a mad artificial intelligence.
Players can expect to encounter new enemies with shape-shifting abilities. The expansion also introduces an expanded arsenal and new abilities for the glove.
The “Instinct of Extinction” DLC is currently available exclusively on the VK Play platform. The cost of the first story DLC is 399 rubles. Additionally, anyone who purchases the expansion before October 31 will receive a one-month subscription to VK Music as a gift.
Furthermore, until August 8, the PC version of Atomic Heart can be purchased with a discount of up to 40%:
Standard edition – 1649 rubles;
Gold edition – 1919 rubles;
Premium edition – 2159 rubles.
Atomic Heart is available on the VK Play platform, published by Astrum Entertainment.
