According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, an Israeli air attack in central Gaza’s al-Maghazi refugee camp has resulted in the death of at least 70 people.
The ministry’s spokesman, Ashraf al-Qudra, stated on Sunday that the number of casualties is expected to increase.
“The al-Maghazi camp is currently witnessing a massacre in a densely populated residential area,” he commented.
There are reports of numerous injuries and the destruction of several houses, as families search through the debris in hopes of finding survivors.
“We were all targeted,” said Ahmad Turokmani, who tragically lost multiple family members, including his daughter and grandson. “There is no safe place in Gaza anyway.”
