We delved into trials involving AI in South Australian schools to uncover insights.
Initially, most Australian states prohibited the use of ChatGPT and similar AI tools in government schools (although many private schools embraced the technology).
In a contrasting move, the SA government initiated a trial with its own AI tool, EdChat, in 2023.
Subsequently, other regions have reevaluated their positions. For instance, New South Wales commenced its own AI tool trial at the beginning of 2024.
