Recent research from the Oxford Internet Institute reveals ⁤that AI skills are highly⁤ sought after, with workers seeing a 21% increase in wages on ‍average due to the high level of skill complementarity.

In a recent report by Foote Partners, a recruitment‍ and consulting firm, it was ⁢found that companies are willing to ​pay⁤ a premium for employees with AI-related skills.

Foote Partners has‌ identified 47 essential AI skills, with ⁣employees who possess these skills ‌receiving ⁤pay premiums ranging from ‌7% to 21%.⁣ These premiums can take the form of bonuses and additional cash compensation.

David Foote, chief analyst at⁣ Foote Partners, ⁢highlighted that these premiums‍ are paid out in addition to salaries, with core AI skills commanding pay increases of 15% to 21%, well above the average premium for other non-certified skills.
