Yet another day brings news of a Tesla recall. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has alerted nearly 700,000 Tesla vehicle owners about an issue with the tire pressure monitoring system warning light, according to the Associated Press.
This recall impacts the 2024 Cybertruck, 2017-2025 Model 3, and 2020-2025 Model Y vehicles. The NHTSA has identified a potential problem where the warning light for the tire pressure monitoring system may not function correctly.
Tesla has announced that it will be sending out an over-the-road (OTR) update to address this warning light issue in affected vehicles. Owners can expect to receive notification letters by Feb. 15, 2025.
Over the past year, there have been several recalls and OTR updates for Tesla vehicles.
