Tesla issues massive recall for nearly 700,000 vehicles due to tire pressure monitor problem


Yet another ​day brings news of⁢ a ⁢Tesla recall. The National ‍Highway ⁤Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has alerted nearly 700,000 Tesla vehicle owners about an issue with the tire pressure monitoring system warning ‌light, ‌according to the⁤ Associated Press.

This recall impacts the 2024 Cybertruck, 2017-2025 Model ‍3, and 2020-2025 ‌Model Y⁣ vehicles. The ‍NHTSA ‍has identified ‌a potential⁣ problem‍ where the warning light for‌ the tire pressure monitoring system may not function​ correctly.

Tesla has announced that it will​ be⁢ sending out an over-the-road ‌(OTR) update to address this warning light issue in affected vehicles. Owners can expect to receive notification letters⁢ by Feb. 15, 2025.
