Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares Steps Down Amid U.S. Challenges: A New Chapter Begins

In a surprising turn of⁤ events, Carlos Tavares has stepped down as CEO⁣ of​ Stellantis due to growing differences with⁢ the board of directors.

The world’s fourth-largest⁤ automaker confirmed Tavares’ resignation was accepted⁢ by the board and is effective immediately.

Stellantis, known for its Jeep brand,​ is actively searching for a new CEO and​ aims to finalize the selection by the first half of next year. In the meantime, an ⁤interim executive committee led by chairman John Elkann will be put in place.
