After making the move to New Delhi, known for having the worst air quality globally on Monday, Ameesha Munjal found herself unable to engage in physical activities or socialize. She resorted to various medications in an attempt to combat the sickness caused by the polluted air.
The pollution levels were so severe that upon visiting her doctor, she was advised to leave the city as surviving in such conditions would be challenging. From steroid nasal sprays to allergy and fever medications, her daily routine has been severely impacted. Simple activities like going for a walk or practicing yoga on her balcony have become impossible. Following medical advice, she refrained from meeting friends outdoors – a heartbreaking reality forcing her to consider leaving behind her hometown due to its polluted air.
