Starbucks is now offering oat milk as a dairy-free alternative, catering to the growing demand for non-dairy options.
The company announced that they will be eliminating the surcharge for dairy substitutes starting November 7th, providing customers in the U.S. with savings of over 10% on their favorite beverages.
This decision comes after listening to customer feedback and recognizing the popularity of milk alternatives. With declining sales in the U.S. due to higher prices, Starbucks aims to make every visit worthwhile for its customers.
CEO Brian Niccol expressed that this change is just one of many improvements planned to enhance the Starbucks experience.
According to Starbucks, choosing a non-dairy milk is one of the top customization requests from customers, second only to adding an extra shot of espresso.
The adjustment in pricing aligns with the launch of Starbucks’ holiday menu and marks the end of their olive oil-infused product line.
