SpaceX Achieves Unprecedented Launch Record with Rockets in 2023

Elon Musk’s SpaceX broke its previous annual record for orbital‌ rocket launches, achieving 96 successful missions in 2023​ with an average launch pace of ⁢every four days.

SpaceX accomplished 91 launches this year using its‌ Falcon‍ 9 rocket and an additional five with the ‍Falcon⁤ Heavy, surpassing its previous ‍annual record of 61 orbital launches in 2022. To ⁢put it into perspective, SpaceX launched Falcon 9 more ‍times this year than in the⁢ entire ​first decade after the ‍rocket’s debut.

Throughout the year, SpaceX also achieved its 250th orbital⁤ rocket booster landing⁤ and successfully launched and landed a single rocket⁢ 19 times, continuously pushing the boundaries of rocket reuse.
