Originally scheduled to return two months ago, delays caused by issues with Boeing’s Starliner capsule and Hurricane Milton prolonged their mission. The team persevered through setbacks with support from ground crews who adapted alongside them.
The space station now hosts a full crew of seven members—four Americans and three Russians—after operating beyond capacity for an extended period.
