Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price, shadow minister for Indigenous Australians, appeared on ABC News Breakfast to mark the first anniversary of the Voice referendum.
For the past 18 months, we have been advocating for an investigation into statutory authorities that have failed in serving those they represent. The Albanese Government has turned a blind eye to this issue despite growing concerns from voices like Traditional Owners. It is imperative to address and reform these structures starting with an inquiry.
The claims that current laws under the Albanese government are hindering businesses from hiring are baseless. In fact, we have generated close to 1 million jobs in just over two years since taking office. The economic data does not support the demands of certain business groups pushing for changes.
