The Women’s National Basketball Association experienced a surge in viewership and attendance during the 2024 season, fueled by rising stars like Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.
The league shattered records with over 54 million unique viewers tuning in across major networks including Disney’s ABC and ESPN, Paramount Global’s CBS, E.W. Scripps’ Ion, and NBA TV.
Attendance at WNBA games reached its highest point in over two decades with nearly a 50% increase from the previous season. A total of 154 sellout games were recorded throughout the year compared to just 45 sellouts in 2023.
