Ralph Lauren mentioned Wednesday that its govt vp and chief business officer, Howard Smith, will resign instantly after the retailer discovered of allegations relating to his private conduct.
Upon studying of the allegations, the audit committee of the board of administrators launched an impartial investigation with the help of exterior counsel, Ralph Lauren mentioned in a submitting with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The investigation revealed conduct that violated Ralph Lauren’s code of enterprise conduct and ethics and different insurance policies, it mentioned.
