Hulu has announced the addition of several PBS channels to its Live TV subscription service. This includes a range of local PBS affiliates and PBS Kids offerings, providing viewers with access to popular shows such as Antiques Roadshow, Frontline, Masterpiece, and a variety of Ken Burns documentaries.
While this is live TV, meaning viewers will be tied to their local affiliate and have to watch shows at the scheduled time, some titles will be available on-demand. Additionally, Hulu+ Live TV offers cloud storage DVR recording options. PBS Kids is also included in this deal, allowing parents to entertain their children with shows like Curious George, Arthur, Clifford the Big Red Dog, and other anthropomorphic animals. However, Sesame Street will only air on PBS Kids after first running on Warner’s streaming service, HBO Max.
