Oscars Snub: ‘West Side Story’ Star Rachel Zegler Didn’t Score An Invite

West Side Story’s breakout star Rachel Zegler is not going to be in attendance on the Oscars together with her fellow colleagues, regardless of the movie having scored a complete of seven nominations together with Best Picture.

Zegler, who starred as Maria within the movie, responded to a fan on Instagram who requested what she’ll be carrying for the occasion with, “I’m not invited so sweatpants and my boyfriend’s flannel.”

She additional responded to outraged and disillusioned followers by saying, “Idk y’all I’ve tried all of it however it does not appear to be occurring.”

“I’ll root for West Side Story from my sofa and be pleased with the work we so tirelessly did 3 years in the past. I hope some final minute miracle happens and I can have a good time our movie in particular person however hey, that is the way it goes generally, I assume. Thanks for all of the shock and outrage — I’m disillusioned, too. But that is okay. So pleased with our film.”
