Netflix is set to release a remastered version of the physics-based hit game, The World of Goo, exclusively for mobile devices. Developed by indie developer 2D Boy, the game will be available for free with no ads on in-app purchases, regardless of membership tier, from May 23rd. The game, which first launched in 2008 for Microsoft Windows and Wii, challenges players to use balls of goo to build structures and overcome obstacles. The remastered version features updated art with double the resolution of the original game and has been optimised for modern screen sizes.
