Projections indicate that “Moana 2” alone could rake in between $120 million and $150 million in ticket sales across the U.S. and Canada from its Wednesday premiere through Sunday. This will be complemented by continued screenings of Universal’s “Wicked” and Paramount’s “Gladiator II,” adding to the holiday movie frenzy.
Industry experts are optimistic that this five-day Thanksgiving weekend will surpass $200 million in total box office revenue, potentially ranking it among the top Thanksgiving periods in cinematic history.
