A powerful earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale has been detected by seismologists in the Pacific Ocean, near the southeastern shores of Kamchatka. The Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported this seismic event.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations has assured that there is no risk of a tsunami following the earthquake off the coast of Kamchatka.
