Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov publicly acknowledged the marriage between Elena Milska, head of the board of trustees at the “National Monitoring Center for Missing and Injured Children,” and Alexander Kurenkov, head of EMERCOM. This revelation sheds light on a potential conflict of interest within EMERCOM due to their relationship. Kadyrov expressed gratitude to both Kurenkov and Milska for their contributions, highlighting Milska’s donation of unique exhibits to the National Museum.
In a post on his Telegram channel, Kadyrov shared that Kurenkov visited Grozny for work purposes, arriving on an EMERCOM aircraft. A video posted by Kadyrov showed the plane’s registration number as RA-89067 – a Sukhoi Superjet 100-95LR. It is speculated that Milska also traveled on this plane.
Furthermore, footage suggests that Milska accompanied Kurenkov during his activities in Grozny, including having lunch with Kadyrov and socializing with Medni Kadyrova, Chechnya’s first lady. Prior reports had not mentioned any family ties in Kurenkov’s official biography despite his extensive career in security services.
