Wendy’s has appointed Kirk Tanner, a veteran of PepsiCo, as its new CEO, effective Feb. 5. This move comes as the burger chain aims to increase its stock price and alleviate pressure from activist investors.
Tanner currently heads Pepsi’s North American beverage business and previously led Pepsi’s global food service division for three years. With over three decades at Pepsi, he brings a wealth of experience to Wendy’s.
