Illumina and SoFi are buys

SoFi Technologies: “[CEO] Anthony Noto is doing an excellent job there. Frankly, they did a secondary. It crushed the inventory. You know, the inventory popped. People felt like they received damage by it when the secondary occurred, and now I believe it is bottomed.”

American Outdoor Brands: “I do know it is a gun play, however they have all these different manufacturers that we actually like. They’re type of an amalgam of manufacturers. I do not know. I do not assume it is that unhealthy a narrative down right here. I do not like to invest forward of the quarter, however they have a whole lot of nice manufacturers.”

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Holdings: “This is a tricky one as a result of we all know that that final quarter was fairly weak, and [JPMorgan retail analyst Matthew Boss] is reacting I consider — I’ve not spoken to him about Ollie’s — to what was 1 / 4 that was less than snuff with many different firms having nice quarters. … This is a really powerful market. If it is good, it would not go up. If it is unhealthy, then look out.”

Illumina: “Look, Illumina is a incredible firm. I’m not simply saying that as a result of we all know [Dr. Scott Gottlieb] is on the board. Illumina is a winner. They made a incredible acquisition. They are gene sequencer elements. … I might purchase the inventory.”
