Swarovski has unveiled its first-ever pair of smart binoculars at CES 2024 in Las Vegas. These binoculars have the ability to identify the bird you are looking at. To use this feature, simply point the binoculars at the bird and ensure that the view is in focus. Then, press the action button. Within a few seconds, the system will overlay the bird’s name on your view using data from the Merlin Bird ID database. This database contains over 9,000 species and can even provide information on the certainty of the bird’s presence in an unexpected location. This feature alone justifies the purchase, but there is more to these binoculars than meets the eye.
Located between the eyepieces is a function wheel similar to the one found on a camera.
