Beyond Yoga has announced that former Athleta CEO and longtime Gap veteran Nancy Green will be its next chief executive. The company is aiming to expand beyond its modest beginnings and compete with industry leaders such as Lululemon, Alo Yoga, and Vuori. Beyond Yoga’s founder Michelle Wahler and its Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Jesse Adams will be stepping down, with Green set to take over on Feb. 1. Wahler and Adams will remain as advisors during the transition. Levi’s incoming CEO Michelle Gass expressed confidence in Green’s ability to unlock the brand’s potential and leverage her retail expertise and Levi Strauss’ global resources.
