A group of ten journalists who have extensively reported on the conflict in Gaza for major news networks like CNN and the BBC have come forward to expose what they claim is a pro-Israel bias, double standards, and ethical breaches within these organizations’ newsrooms starting from October 7.
They alleged that senior figures in the newsrooms failed to hold Israeli authorities accountable and interfered with reporting to minimize Israeli wrongdoings. Shockingly, at CNN, false Israeli propaganda was aired despite warnings from staff members.
These revelations were made during interviews with Al Jazeera’s The Listening Post, a program that analyzes global media trends, for their documentary titled Failing Gaza: Behind the Lens of Western Media.
Adam*, a journalist at CNN, expressed his disappointment stating that he used to trust the network’s journalistic integrity but was shaken by how easily biased narratives favoring Israel were being promoted after October 7.
‘An embarrassing moment’ at CNN

During this visit, military spokesperson Daniel Hagari claimed they had evidence showing Hamas using the hospital as a cover for holding Israeli captives. He presented Robertson with what he claimed was a list of Hamas members guarding these captives written in Arabic on a wall inside the hospital.
This incident was later described by Adam as “an embarrassing moment” for CNN when it turned out that what Hagari showed them was not related to Hamas or captives but just a calendar written in Arabic…
