Elon Musk has announced a bold initiative through his political action committee, America Pac. He plans to give away $1m daily until election day to individuals who sign his petition aimed at encouraging Republicans in key battleground states to register to vote.
This commitment, which kicked off with Musk presenting a check lottery-style to the first winner at a recent town hall event, could potentially amount to $17m if he remains the primary donor.
The petition by America Pac targets registered voters in Pennsylvania, urging them to support the first and second amendments. It aims to motivate Trump supporters to register and participate in the $1m drawing. By signing the petition at events like Saturday’s town hall, attendees provide contact information for potential voters that America Pac can mobilize for Trump.
Not limited to Republicans, the petition welcomes signatures from any Democrat registered in Pennsylvania as well.
Musk’s recent event in Harrisburg is part of his efforts leading up to November’s election. He emphasizes early voting and urges supporters to rally others behind their cause.
Having already contributed $75m towards America Pac’s operations supporting Donald Trump’s ground game strategy in battleground states, Musk is deeply involved in campaign efforts.
