Since Labour’s victory in the general election, over 10,000 migrants have crossed the English Channel based on preliminary data from the Home Office. According to PA Media, 65 migrants were intercepted on Monday alone, bringing the total number of arrivals since July 4 to 10,024. The cumulative figure for this year now stands at 23,598.
