Eco-laundry hopes to wash up how we wash garments


A start-up from Oxford is hoping to make laundry extra environmentally pleasant by accumulating garments and washing them in its extra eco-friendly laundrette.

OxWash makes use of chilly water in its machines to scale back vitality consumption and makes use of a specialised detergent that produces ozone to sterilise garments.

BBC Click’s Chris Fox visited one of many firm’s centres in Battersea, London and requested founder Kyle Grant why folks would need to ship their garments away to be washed.
