Last year, Denver International Airport experienced its highest level of activity on record, with millions of passengers returning to the Colorado hub. The CEO, Phil Washington, stated that the airport is expected to surpass its forecast with about 78 million passengers annually by the end of 2023, marking significant growth. Originally designed for 50 million passengers per year, the airport is now projected to accommodate over 100 million people annually by 2027. According to OAG, a global travel data provider, Denver International Airport went from being the 21st busiest airport in the world in 2019 to the sixth in 2023.
