Russia has initiated a consecutive day of missile and drone assaults, striking multiple Ukrainian regions and resulting in the deaths of at least five individuals.
Reports from regional officials indicated that two individuals lost their lives when a missile obliterated a hotel in the central city of Kryvyi Rih, while three others perished in drone attacks on the southeastern city of Zaporizhzhia.
Yesterday, Russia targeted Ukrainian energy infrastructure with over 200 missiles and drones.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine declared on Tuesday that Kyiv would respond and urged allies to contemplate joint air defense operations and provide advanced long-range weaponry.
The Ukrainian air force reported that it successfully intercepted five out of ten Russian missiles and 60 out of 81 drones during Tuesday’s assaults. Additionally, it mentioned losing track of 10 drones that likely crashed within its territory. One drone breached Belarusian airspace, while 10 others remained airborne in Ukraine’s airspace on Tuesday morning.
