Boeing’s defense unit leader Ted Colbert is stepping down from his position immediately as announced by CEO Kelly Ortberg. This move marks Ortberg’s first significant executive decision since assuming the top role in early August.
In a memo to staff on Friday, Ortberg emphasized the importance of rebuilding customer trust and meeting high expectations to support critical missions worldwide. He expressed confidence in the team’s ability to enhance performance and fulfill commitments collectively.
