Boeing’s⁢ defense unit leader Ted Colbert is stepping down from his ‍position immediately ‌as announced by CEO Kelly ‍Ortberg. ⁤This move‍ marks Ortberg’s first significant executive decision since assuming ⁣the top role in early August.

In a memo ‍to‍ staff ‌on Friday, Ortberg emphasized​ the ‌importance of rebuilding customer trust ⁤and meeting high expectations to ⁤support⁤ critical missions‌ worldwide. He expressed confidence in ⁤the team’s ability to enhance performance and fulfill commitments collectively.
