On Sunday, Israeli forces raided the West Bank city of Jenin, resulting in the death of 14-year-old Qusai Radwan Waked and the detainment of Jibril Zubeidi. According to the Israel Defense Forces, Border Police, and Israel Security Agency, Zubeidi was arrested for his suspected involvement in “terrorist activity against security forces and planning attacks,” as well as for his possible role in the brief seizure of the body of an Israeli Druze man who was killed in a car accident in the West Bank in November. The raid also resulted in several armed individuals being injured in the exchange of fire and the use of a smoke bomb. Zubeidi had previously served 11 years in an Israeli prison.
